Laser hair removal works best on lighter to medium skin tones with darker hair, as the technology targets pigment in the hair follicle. It is not ideal for those with darker skin, as the laser may have difficulty distinguishing between the pigment in the hair and the surrounding skin, increasing the risk of irritation or complications. Those with lighter blonde, gray, red, or white hair may also not see the same level of effectiveness. Your provider will assess your skin and hair type to determine if you’re a good candidate.

Most clients find the treatment very tolerable. The laser pulses feel like mild heat or a quick snap against the skin, similar to a rubber band. Our system includes built-in cooling technology to improve comfort during treatment.

There is no downtime after laser hair removal. You may experience mild redness or warmth in the treated area for a few hours, similar to a slight sunburn. Clients can return to normal activities immediately but should avoid direct sun exposure and use SPF on treated areas to protect the skin.

You may notice a reduction in hair growth after your first session, but full results develop gradually over a series of treatments. Hair grows in cycles, and laser hair removal is most effective during the active growth phase, which is why multiple sessions are required to achieve optimal results.

Most clients need a series of 6-8 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart to achieve the best long-term hair reduction. The exact number of sessions varies based on hair thickness, treatment area, and individual response to the laser.
