Hydrafacial is a gentle, non-invasive treatment with no downtime. Most patients leave with hydrated, glowing skin and can return to normal activities immediately. The notes below help you protect your results and avoid irritation.

Please contact our office at (610) 393-1253 if you experience:

  • Persistent redness, itching, or irritation beyond a few hours
  • Blistering or open sores
  • Recurring blisters or sores, which may indicate a herpes outbreak
  • Signs of an allergic reaction (hives, swelling outside the treated area, difficulty breathing)
  • Signs of infection (increasing warmth, tenderness, drainage)

If it is after hours, leave a message and we will follow up within 24 hours. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

POST-CARE POLICIES

For 24 Hours

  • Avoid hot yoga, steam rooms, saunas, and intense exercise for the rest of the day. Excess heat and perspiration can reduce the longevity of your results.
  • You may apply makeup after your Hydrafacial, though many clients prefer to enjoy the post-treatment glow makeup-free for the day.

For 3-5 Days

  • Avoid retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, and other active or exfoliating products for 3–5 days after your Hydrafacial, unless your provider advises otherwise.

Until Fully Healed

  • Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen daily and avoid prolonged sun exposure. Your skin may be slightly more sensitive in the days following your Hydrafacial. Stay consistent with your skincare routine — your provider may have recommended products to support your goals, and this is a great time to incorporate them.
