How to Use LATISSE®
To achieve optimal results safely, follow these steps exactly as directed each evening:
  1. Cleanse your face thoroughly and ensure all makeup and contact lenses are removed.
  2. Remove one sterile applicator from the tray. Holding it horizontally, place one drop of LATISSE® near—but not on—the tip of the applicator.
  3. Immediately apply the solution by gently brushing the applicator along the skin at the base of your upper lashes, moving from the inner corner to the outer corner of the eyelid.
  4. Blot any excess solution that went beyondthe eyelid with a tissue to prevent it from spreading to unintended areas.
  5. Discard the used applicator—do not reuse.
  6. Repeat the process for the opposite eye using a new, sterile applicator.
Important Notes
To ensure safe and effective results with LATISSE®, please keep the following in mind:
  • Apply once nightly for 16 weeks. Do not stop or reduce use when you first begin to see results.
  • If you miss a dose, do not try to catch up. Simply resume your routine the next evening.
  • More frequent use will not enhance results and may increase the risk of irritation.
  • Do not apply directly into the eye or to the lower lid. If excess solution spreads beyond the application area, gently blot it with a tissue.
  • Hair growth may occur in areas where LATISSE® frequently touches the skin. Apply carefully and avoid drips or smudging.
  • Use only the sterile, single-use applicators provided in your kit.
  • Do not allow the tip of the bottle or applicator to touch your skin, fingers, or any surface, as contamination can lead to eye infections.
  • Remove contact lenses before applying LATISSE®. You may reinsert them 15 minutes after application.
  • If LATISSE® gets into your eye, do not rinse. It is not expected to cause harm.
  • You may notice a difference in lash growth between your eyes in terms of length, fullness, color, or direction—this is not uncommon.
  • If you discontinue use, your lashes will gradually return to their original appearance over time.
Please read these instructions carefully to ensure nothing is missed. Proper post-care not only minimizes the risk of complications and speeds up healing—it also helps achieve the best possible results.)
