Please do not arrive on an empty stomach. Come with a clean face, free of makeup, and hair secured away from your face so your provider can treat you comfortably and precisely.
Please avoid scheduling important events within three weeks of your appointment. While bruising is typically minimal, it can occasionally last up to 10–14 days. Results from neuromodulators develop gradually, with most clients noticing full results at 14 days. For masseter treatments, full results may take 4 -6 weeks.
If you may be receiving lower face treatments, avoid dental appointments for 2 weeks before and after your visit.
If you are currently taking aminoglycoside antibiotics, please contact us to reschedule, as we cannot perform neuromodulator treatments while these medications are in use.
To help minimize bruising and swelling, begin avoiding blood-thinning medications, foods, and supplements—unless prescribed for a medical condition.

If you regularly use pain relievers, Tylenol (acetaminophen) is safe to use, as it does not thin the blood. Always consult your physician before making changes, and avoid Tylenol if it is contraindicated with your medical history or current medications.
Arnica is available in our office, at Vitamin Shoppe, or on Amazon. Please follow the dosage instructions on the label, and consult your provider or physician if you are unsure whether it’s appropriate for you.
