arrow

Can I have more than one service during the same appointment?

A

Yes! The only injectable services that cannot be combined during your appointment are Dissolver and Filler (if in the same area). Lasers and chemical peels must be scheduled separately due to time constraints. Be sure to let your injector know exactly what your goals are for the appointment so they can prepare the best products for your treatment!

I have a cold, can I still come to my appointment?

A

Due to the hygienic nature of our services and office, we cannot accept sick patients. If you are feeling ill, please call or email as soon as possible to reschedule.

A

Please schedule a “new client appointment” on our booking portal.

A

To cancel your appointment, please email the office at info@allureaestheticsllc.com and let us know as soon as possible! Make the subject “Appointment Cancellation” so it’s easy for us to find.

A

Yes! To earn rewards on future treatments, create an Allē account (for Latisse & Kybella) at www.alle.com. Safety & Hygiene

arrow

Is it okay to wear makeup after my injections?

A

Generally, it’s best to avoid makeup for 24 hours after your appointment, but we recommend using Oxygenetix, which is the only safe foundation to use immediately post-injection! Oxygenetix is sold in our office.

arrow

Is it safe to have Neuromodulators or Dermal Fillers during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

A

Cosmetic injectables and chemical peels are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

arrow

Is it okay to have fillers before or after getting the COVID-19 vaccine?

A

Any vaccine could potentially trigger temporary swelling around fillers. As the immune system responds to the vaccine, it could create an inflammatory response to anything the body determines to be a foreign body.

This is not limited to the COVID vaccine, but it has been getting some more attention due to the magnitude of this vaccine rollout. It’s still very rare — we believe it occurred in 0.01% of people in the Moderna trial, and either subsided on its own or was treated over a few days with antihistamines and/or steroids to reduce the swelling until it subsided.

It’s something you can note to your doctor or pharmacist when receiving the vaccine so they’re aware (especially if you’re particularly sensitive to vaccines or allergic reactions) to see if they have any advice based on your medical history.

arrow

Will my daily medications be an issue/interfere prior to my appointment?

A

Please disclose any medications you are taking on the Patient Portal and your provider will advise.

arrow

What can I take for pain relief instead of Motrin?

A

We recommend taking Tylenol as it does not thin blood like Motrin or Ibuprofen; however, please do not take Tylenol if it is contraindicated with any of your current medical conditions or medications. If you are unsure, please consult your primary care provider.

arrow

What should I avoid after getting fillers?

A

Please refer back to our Post-Care Policies.

Neuromodulators

arrow

Will neuromodulator cause my face to “freeze”?

A

Neuromodulators will not freeze your face, we promise! Neuromodulators actually relax the muscles in the face and the treatment can be customizable to your preferences. The “frozen” look you may have seen online is due to too high of a dose.

arrow

When will I see the full results of my treatment?

A

Please wait 2-3 weeks to allow swelling to fully settle before assessing results.

Dermal Fillers

arrow

Is it possible to do half of a syringe for dermal filler?

A

Yes, we have half syringes available for $425. Depending on your goals, two or more sessions may be necessary.

arrow

Can I share a syringe with a friend?

A

We offer half syringes for $425, but you cannot split the same syringe with a friend during your appointment.

arrow

Can you do a non-surgical rhinoplasty if I’ve already had a surgical rhinoplasty?

A

We cannot perform a non-surgical rhinoplasty if you’ve previously had surgical rhinoplasty as it increases the risk of complications.

arrow

Can I just have a lip flip?

A

Lip flips are typically offered as an add-on service to Lip Filler. The total cost will depend on how many units are required during your treatment, but is typically in the $45-$75 range. As a standalone service, we charge $150.

arrow

Can I request more than 1ml for my lips?

A

For lips, 1 ml is the maximum amount we recommend per session as it helps prevent overfilling or losing the natural shape of the area by adding too much at one time. Most clients require additional treatments to reach their goals.

arrow

Do you do the Russian lip technique?

A

We do a tenting technique similar to the Russian technique with fewer risks of adverse reactions.

arrow

Can filler fix a cleft chin?

A

Yes, dermal fillers can improve the appearance of a cleft chin!

Full Face Refresher®

arrow

What is included in this treatment?

A

Our Full Face Refresher® is a completely customized treatment based on an individual’s anatomy. During your appointment, we would conduct a crown-to-neck assessment of contour, symmetry, hollowing, wrinkle formation, and proportions to develop a comprehensive treatment plan.

arrow

How many sessions are required?

A

The number of sessions would depend on your treatment plan, but most clients need 2-3 appointments.

Kybella

arrow

How many sessions are required to get full results?

A

It can vary for each client, but most clients require 1-2 sessions and 2-10 syringes per session.

arrow

How do I know if I am a good candidate for Kybella?

A

Typically, the best candidates for Kybella treatments are those who are within a healthy weight and BMI, eat well and exercise, and have minimal skin laxity. Always consult your injector for an accurate assessment!

arrow

Is there any downtime for Kybella?

A

There may be some swelling and redness post-treatment. You should expect moderate swelling to last for up to 3 weeks. Full results are not seen until 12 weeks post-procedure. Please refer to our Post-Care Policies for more information.

arrow

With Kybella, targeted fat cells will be permanently eliminated but new fat cells may emerge with weight gain.
