Avoid all medications, supplements, foods, and alcohol listed in the Pre-Care Policies (link) until bruising and swelling have fully resolved—unless they are medically necessary.
Some swelling is normal immediately after treatment. However, if you experience excessive swelling or any signs of infection, please contact us right away.

Refrain from exercise until all visible bruising and swelling have subsided, as increased circulation may prolong healing.
If you need pain relief, Tylenol (acetaminophen) is safe to use—unless contraindicated based on your medical history or other medications.
You may take Arnica to help reduce bruising and swelling, unless it is contraindicated (e.g., with high blood pressure or other medical conditions). Always follow the instructions on the label.
Protect the treated area from sun exposure by wearing a wide-brimmed hat or protective clothing any time you’re outdoors. This is essential to prevent blistering, scarring, hyperpigmentation, and hypopigmentation while the skin continues to recover.
Daily sunscreen use is essential beginning the day after your treatment and should be continued consistently for at least 3 months post-procedure.
